A collection of utilities for musicians and engineers that includes tap-tempo BPM, two-mode metronome, and note-value conversion table in ms/Hz.
Tap-tempo BPM:
Need to know the tempo of a song? Just tap in the tempo and Tempo Toolkit will automatically calculate the BPM (beats per minute).
Manual BPM:
Press the up/down arrows to nudge the current BPM by increments of 1. Press and hold the up/down arrows to scroll the current BPM. (Note: The longer you hold, the faster it will scroll.)
BPM Reset:
Press the "RESET" button to return to the default setting of 120 BPM.
Metronome:
Need a reference for the current BPM setting? The Tempo Toolkit metronome offers two separate modes which can be used independently or in tandem:
1) Strobe Mode engages an LED that flashes in sync with the current BPM setting. This feature comes in handy in situations where "silent running" is imperative.
2) Click Mode engages an audible "click" in sync with the current BPM setting.
BPM-to-Note Value Conversion Table:
Pressing the "DELAY TIMES" button at the bottom of the main view toggles a secondary view listing note values in both Milliseconds and Hertz (cycles per second). A 3-position switch below the table allows you to modify calculations for dotted values, straight/normal values and triplet values.
